THE ROLE OF PERFORMANCE EXPECTANCY, EFFORT EXPECTANCY, SOCIAL INFLUENCE, AND HABIT THROUGH USER SATISFACTION IN THE POMPOMDORO APP
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to analyze user acceptance of the PomPomDoro application based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) framework. The focus of this study is the PomPomDoro application, which is designed to help children improve study focus through its features. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 202 respondents who were parents or guardians of children using the application. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The research results show that the variables Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Habit have a positive influence on User Satisfaction and Purchase Intention. In addition, User Satisfaction has been proven to mediate the relationship between Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy on Purchase Intention. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the development of the UTAUT 2 model in the context of children’s educational applications, as well as practical implications for application developers in designing strategies to increase adoption and loyalty.
