Aksen: Journal of Design and Creative Industry (e-ISSN : 2477-2607; p- ISSN : 2477-2593) is a national, bilingual peer-reviewed academic journal (published in both English and Indonesian) released biannually—in April and October—by the Architecture Department, School of Creative Industry, Universitas Ciputra, Surabaya.

This journal is accredited as a national journal (SINTA 4) by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology under Decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023. The journal is dedicated to advancing theory-informed and empirically grounded research in Architecture and Interior Design, including design management and creative industry studies that are directly related to architectural and interior design practices, processes, and organizations.

The journal prioritizes studies that combine empirical evidence with critical and conceptual analysis, addressing design-related problems across spatial, social, environmental, and organizational dimensions. Contributions are expected to demonstrate clear problem formulation, theoretical positioning, methodological rigor, and analytical depth, as well as to articulate implications for architectural and interior design research and practice. Aksen publishes research articles, discourse articles, and research methodology articles that contribute to the development and consolidation of knowledge in architecture-and interior-related design disciplines.
