Aksen: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is managed by the Architecture Department of Ciputra University. This journal invites professionals in the academic world, practitioners, researchers, and students to disseminate the latest ideas and knowledge in the field of Architecture, Interior Design, Creative Industry and Design Management. Articles in the form of theoretical and empirical research, literature reviews, as well as case studies are welcome in this scientific journal.

Aksen: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is biannually published every April and October.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software.

The manuscripts will be reviewed by two (2) reviewers. This journal uses double-blind review system, therefore the author’s identity must be completely removed. 

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking with a maximum similarity of 25%. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.

Aksen: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is archived on Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD) and Onesearch by Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia.

You are free to:

2. Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
3. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

The article-processing charge is Rp500.000,- and the author will receive a notification for payment when they have made revisions from the reviewer and are ready to go to the layout process.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers the costs of peer review administration, DOI number, and professional production of articles in PDF version. There are no charges for rejected articles and no submission charges. The APC will not be charged to the first/corresponding authors from outside Indonesia (international authors). APC will not be returned for retracted articles due to misconduct.
