BIOMARKER PADA LUPUS NEFRITIS

Abstrak
Lupus nefritis (LN) terus menjadi penyebab utama tingginya tingkat morbiditas dan mortalitas pada pasien lupus eritematosus sistemik (SLE). Biopsi ginjal masih menjadi sebagai baku emas untuk mendiagnosis LN. Beberapa biomarker telah diidentifikasi dan dievaluasi yang meningkatkan perbaikan dalam manajemen pasien dengan LN. Tinjauan pustaka ini merangkum literatur terkini yang relevan dengan biomarker untuk diagnosis, pemantauan, dan prognosis LN. Biomarker ini dikategorikan berdasarkan sumber sampelnya, yaitu serum dan urin. Kedua sumber sampel ini menunjukkan variasi data dari biomarker yang signifikan berkaitan dengan aktivitas penyakit dan parameter histologis LN. Molekul-molekul potensial biomarker tersebut merupakan molekul-molekul seperti, antibodi, sitokin, kemokin, dan molekul adhesi. Tinjauan pustaka ini memberikan gambaran umum dan harapannya dapat menjadi acuan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, khususnya dalam konteks pemahaman biomarker LN yang lebih mendalam di Indonesia.
