PMJ (Prominentia Medical Journal) is a scientific journal focused on Medicine and Health. PMJ publishes Research Articles, Literature Reviews, Systematic Reviews, and Case Reports that focus on Preventive Medicine and the Prevention of Lifestyle Diseases.

Publication Frequency
PMJ (Prominentia Medical Journal) is published biannually, in May and November.
Peer Review Process
- All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow the focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal.
- Plagiarism is a threat to scholarly publishing in general and to Prominentia Medical Journal in particular. The originality of the submitted work can be assured through plagiarism screening and rejection of suspected material. For maximum effectiveness, all articles submitted to Prominentia Medical Journal shall be sent to a plagiarism detection process prior to submission using Turnitin with a maximum similarity of 25%.
- The research article submitted to this journal will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. This journal uses an open review system. The peer review service level agreement is 4 weeks.
- Reviewers may be subject to change based on their availability and their area of expertise.
Open Access Policy
PMJ (Prominentia Medical Journal) (ISSN 2746-7856 and e-ISSN 2746-5357) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License - Share Alike that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

Plagiarism Policy
Every manuscript that has passed the editor's desk evaluation or before being published will be checked for similarity using Turnitin software. Documents must meet the maximum similarity limit of 25% to proceed to the review/production process.
