Focus and Scope
The Review Management and Entrepreneurship Journal (RME) publishes original articles on contemporary global issues and emerging trends in business management and entrepreneurship. The journal also explores a wide range of topics within management and business disciplines, including marketing management, financial management and banking, human resource management, operations management, and various aspects of entrepreneurship.
- Marketing Management: This section consists of theoretical and empirical research studies focused on optimizing marketing strategies. We invite manuscripts covering topics such as consumer behavior, market segmentation, brand management, pricing strategies, product development, distribution channels in retail management, digital marketing, marketing analytics, customer relationship management, and promotion. Studies examining marketing management and developing effective marketing strategies in a competitive business environment are also welcome.
- Financial Management and Banking: This section comprises theoretical and empirical research studies on various topics aimed at understanding, managing, and optimizing an organization's financial resources. Key areas of research include capital structure, investment analysis and portfolio management, financial markets and institutions, risk management, corporate finance, international finance, financial planning and forecasting, behavioral finance, financial reporting and analysis, cost of capital, working capital management, ethical finance, and financial technology (FinTech). These studies cover the essential aspects of financial management, providing a foundation for developing strategies that enhance the financial stability and growth of an organization.
- Human Resource Management: This section consists of theoretical and empirical research studies focused on optimizing human resource management in organizations. The main areas of research include recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, workplace diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and motivation, organizational culture and change management, labor relations and collective bargaining, HRM technology and analytics, talent management and succession planning, work-life balance and employee well-being, legal and ethical issues in HRM, global HRM, employee relations and conflict management, and strategic HRM. This research covers critical aspects of human resource management, offering insights into how organizations can manage human resources effectively to achieve strategic goals.
- Operations Management: This section consists of theoretical and empirical research studies on the efficient and effective management of processes that produce goods and services. The main areas of operations management research include process design and optimization, supply chain management, inventory management, quality management, production planning and control, project management, operations strategy, sustainability in operations, technology and innovation in operations, service operations management, lean operations, capacity planning and facility layout, risk management in operations, global operations management, operations research and decision sciences, capacity utilization and scheduling, and operational risk. This research addresses the main components of operations management, providing insights into how organizations can optimize processes, improve efficiency, and deliver high-quality products and services.
- Entrepreneurship: This section comprises theoretical and empirical research studies on entrepreneurship, which is broad and diverse, focusing on the processes, challenges, and strategies involved in starting and growing new ventures. Key areas of entrepreneurship research include entrepreneurial motivation and intentions, opportunity recognition and innovation, new venture creation and business planning, entrepreneurial finance and funding, social entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, small business management, the entrepreneurial ecosystem and networks, technology and digital entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning and education, gender and diversity in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial resilience and failure, family business and succession planning, global entrepreneurship, sustainable and green entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial policy and regulation, innovation and intellectual property, entrepreneurial marketing, ethics in entrepreneurship, and scalability and growth strategies. This research provides a comprehensive overview of various aspects of entrepreneurship, offering insights into the factors that contribute to the success and sustainability of entrepreneurial ventures.
In addition, the journal periodically includes a Comments and Critiques section that provides a forum for expressing various points of view and for commenting on and clarifying topics in published papers.
The Journal Editorial Board invites manuscripts that address relevant business management and entrepreneurship topics using established and recognized scientific approaches, with an emphasis on work that is impactful or generalizable to national and international populations. Reports of quantitative research that use sophisticated research designs (e.g., Structural Equation Modeling) and reports of quantitative and qualitative research that adhere strictly to novel research methods are preferred. All manuscripts should include a comprehensive review of the literature that defines the research problem or issue being addressed and a thorough conclusion that discusses the implications and limitations of the research or argument.
Peer Review Process
Plagiarism is a threat to scholarly publishing in general and to Review of Management and Entrepreneurship in particular. The originality of the submitted work can be assured through plagiarism screening and rejection of suspected material. For maximum effectiveness, all articles submitted to Review of Management and Entrepreneurship shall be sent to a plagiarism detection process prior to submission using Turnitin with a maximum similarity is 20%.
The manuscripts will be reviewed by two (2) reviewers. This journal uses double-blind review system, therefore the author’s identity must be completely removed. The peer review service level agreement is 4 weeks.
Reviewers may subject to change based on the availability and the area of expertise.
Publication Frequency
The journal was first published in April 2017.
During 2017-2024, the journal published every April and October.
Starting in 2023, the journal published 8 articles.
Open Access Policy
Review Management and Entrepreneurship Journal (RME), (e-ISSN: 2548-3552; p-ISSN: 2548-3536) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author.

This journal charges the following author fees.

Authors free not to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs. - Article Publication: 750,000,00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you must to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism
All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking.
