Journal History
Psychopreneur Journal was first published in 2016 under the leadership of Jony Eko Yulianto S.Psi., M.A., PhD. He also successfully obtained the first ISSN for the journal. Initially, the journal was established to serve as an internal publication platform for the Psychology Department at UC.
Subsequently, the journal was led by Dr. Ersa Lanang Sanjaya, S.Psi, M.Si. During the 2019–2020 period, an additional editorial board member joined the journal, namely Dr. Cicilia Larasati Rembulan, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog. Psychopreneur Journal then expanded its scope by welcoming external manuscript submissions and continuously striving to improve its quality. Since its inception, Psychopreneur Journal has consistently published two issues annually, namely in May and November. As of July 31, 2025, Cicilia Larasati Rembulan serves as Chief Editor.
From Vol 4 No 1 (2020) until Vol 8 No. 2 (2024), based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 204/ E/KPT/2022, Psychopreneur Journal achieved SINTA 4 accreditation. Furthermore, from Vol 7 No. 1 (2023) until Vol 11 No. 2 (2027), based on the Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024, the journal was successfully accredited as SINTA 3. These achievements would not have been possible without the support of reviewers, external editors, and the copyediting team, who consistently contributed constructive feedback to improve the quality of submitted manuscripts. The improvement in accreditation was also made possible by the authors, who continuously submitted their best manuscripts to the journal.
In issue Vol. 10 No. 1 (2026), Psychopreneur Journal introduced new author guidelines and a revised manuscript template (Indonesia and English), adjusted in accordance with recommendations from journal assessors, and we have also updated the copyright license, changing it from CC BY-SA 4.0 to CC BY 4.0. This initiative reflects the journal’s commitment to continuous improvement in order to further enhance its academic quality.
