Journal of Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Financial Technology (JAEF) is a media communication and forum for researchers, academics, finance accounting practitioners within the fields of accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and business. Coverage of JAEF includes, but is not limited to issues surrounding:
- Financial accounting and reporting, capital market.
- Management accounting, behavioral issues in accounting.
- Accounting and information system, auditing.
- Taxation, accounting education, corporate governance, professional ethics.
- Social and environmental accounting.
- Entrepreneurship (intrapreneurship, social entrepreneurship, accounting or finance issues in start-up, family business, etc).
- Financial technology (digital banking, online/digital insurance, peer-to-peer lending, crowdfunding, etc.)

Manuscript Guidelines
Manuscript specifications are depicted in more detail in the manuscript template for JAEF. Manuscript should be provided in MS Word format. It should be typed in EB Garamond 11 font size with a 1.15 spacing, in a single column format on B5 size paper and one side of the paper only, with a 0.79-inch wide margin (top, bottom, left, and right). The length of the entire manuscript should be between 4.000 and 8.000 words (including title, abstract, keywords, tables, figures, but excluding references). All pages should be numbered consecutively at the bottom of the manuscript.
The manuscript should be organized in the following order: title, abstract, keywords, main body of manuscript, and references. If tables or figures are being reproduced from another source, the author should obtain permission from the copyright holder and state the acknowledgment.
The manuscript should be written in English.
Cover Letter: Author should submit a cover letter on a separate covering page. It at least consists of information why the manuscript belongs in this journal. State that the manuscript has not been published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere (a manuscript already sent to or accepted for any other publication should not be submitted). If the manuscript is written by more than one author, order the authors (1st author, 2nd author, etc.) should be based on the guidance from the Vancouver Group (e.g., International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, 1997). The cover letter must be submitted together with the article during submission.
Title: The title should be clear and concise (i.e., what the manuscript is about), should not be too long and contain some of the keywords (8-17 words, with no subtitles), and should be placed on a separate sheet together with the author's full name, affiliation, email address, and corresponding author (if more than one author). The author’s affiliation should be the affiliation where the research was conducted.
Abstract: The abstract should contain a “comprehensive summary of the contents of the article” (American Psychological Association, 2010, 25), and should not be between 150 and 250 words, including the aim of the study, the method in brief, and the main results/findings.
Keywords: 3-5 keywords need to be added after the abstract. Keywords are specific to the article and common within the subject discipline. It should allow the article to be accessed through a web search.
References: The references should be listed alphabetically by author and should be placed on a separate sheet after the main body of manuscript.
In the text use the following style examples:
“It was examined by Fayolle (2013)” for a single author.
“It was examined in brief (Fayolle, 2013)” for a single author.
“It was examined in brief (Fayolle & Liñán, 2014)” by two authors.
“It was examined in brief (Fayolle et al. 2016)” for three or more authors.
“It was examined in brief (Fayolle, 2018a, 2018b)” for a single author with two or more publications in the same year.

Manuscript Classification
This journal only accepts a research paper. The category covers manuscripts which report on any type of research undertaken by the author(s). The research may involve quantitative approaches (i.e., experiment, causal-comparative, and correlational), qualitative approaches (i.e., narrative, case study, ethnography, phenomenology, and grounded theory), mixed methods strategies, action research, evaluation research, and developmental research.
The structure of manuscript may cover: introduction, method, results, discussion, and conclusion. For qualitative approaches, results may also be combined with discussion.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not adhere to these guidelines.
1. Author the undersigned declare that this manuscript is original, has not been published before and is not currently being considered for publication or submitted elsewhere.
2. Author wish to confirm that there are no known conflicts of interest associated with this publication and there has been no significant financial support for this work that could have influenced its outcome.
3. Author confirm that the manuscript has been read and approved by all named authors and that there are no other persons who satisfied the criteria for authorship but are not listed. We further confirm that the order of authors listed in the manuscript has been approved by all of us.
4. Author confirm that we have given due consideration to the protection of intellectual property associated with this work and that there are no impediments to publication, including the timing of publication, with respect to intellectual property. In so doing we confirm that we have followed the regulations of our institutions concerning intellectual property.
5. Author follow all the review stages and revise the article according to the set time limit.
6. Author proofread the article according to the journal managing institution's recommendation.
7. Author pay the publication fee amounting to Rp500.000 after receiving the bill from us, and complete the payment within four weeks since the bill is received. The bill will be sent to author after author receives the Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
