Focus and Scope

Moda: The Fashion Journal (e-ISSN: 2655-8203; p-ISSN: 2656-5005) is published twice a year in the months of January and July. This journal is published by Fashion Product Design Department, Universitas Ciputra Surabaya. This journal is a compilation of the results of research, production, design, review of theory and literature as well as business practices of fashion products, which are not limited in national scope but also in international studies. The name "moda", taken from the Italian language which means Fashion in Indonesian. It is hoped that in the future "moda" can become one of the latest and most trusted references in the field of fashion products, both academically and industrially. Articles published have never been published in other media and/or proceedings with ISBN/ISSN. The contents of the article and all the consequences caused by the article are the full responsibility of the author.

Peer Review Process

  1. Plagiarism is a threat to scholarly publishing in general and to Moda: The Fashion Journal in particular. The originality of the submitted work can be assured through plagiarism screening and rejection of suspected material. For maximum effectiveness, all articles submitted to Moda: The Fashion Journal shall be sent to a plagiarism detection process prior to submission using Turnitin with a maximum similarity is 25%.
  2. Send the manuscript to two(2) reviewers. This journal uses double-blind review system, therefore the author’s identity must be completely removed. The peer review service level agreement is 4 weeks.
  3. Reviewers may subject to change based on the availability and the area of expertise.

Publication Frequency

Moda: The Fashion Journal is published biannually, in January and July.

Open Access Policy

Moda: The Fashion Journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal Licensing Term

You are free to:

  1. Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
  2. Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
  3. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

Under the following terms:

  1. Attribution — You must give appropriate credit , provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  2. ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
  3. No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Moda: The Fashion Journal is a non-profit oriented publication journal and free of charges.
