Focus and Scope

Kreasi: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is a peer-reviewed, biannual academic journal published every April and October by the Architecture Department of Universitas Ciputra. The journal focuses on advancing the exploration of design within the disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, and Design Management, emphasizing innovative thinking, conceptual inquiry, and creative practice.

Kreasi: Journal of Design and Creative Industry particularly encourages submissions from students and emerging scholars in the form of:

• Design explorations, such as conceptual and experimental design projects;

• Literature reviews that synthesize current academic discussions or identify emerging issues in design-related fields;

• Case studies documenting real-world design practices, challenges encountered, and applied solutions.

Since its inaugural issue in October 2015 (Volume 1, Number 1, with an officially registered ISSN), KREASI has provided a platform for critical, reflective, and creative contributions that enrich the academic and professional discourse in Indonesia’s design and creative industry landscape

Kreasi: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is published twice a year in the months of April and October.

Peer Review Process

Kreasi: Journal of Design and Creative Industry is double-blind peer reviewed journal and published biannually (April and October) by Interior Architecture Study Program, Universitas Ciputra Surabaya.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
a. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License - Share Alike that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
b. Publication Charges

KREASI does NOT apply any Article Processing Charges (APC) as Article Submission Charges.

Plagiarism Screening

Plagiarism is a threat to scholarly publishing in general and to KREASI in particular. The originality of the submitted work can be assured through plagiarism screening and rejection of suspected material. For maximum effectiveness, all articles submitted to KREASI shall be sent to a plagiarism detection process prior to submission.

KREASI is archived on Indonesian scientific journal database (ISJD) and Onesearch by Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia.
